DH Tattoo, also known as Dreamhands Tattoo Studio, is an Auckland tattoo business offering personalised body art at its Auckland CBD and Hobsonville studios. With a focus on creativity, individuality and professional service, the studio helps clients turn their ideas into meaningful tattoo designs. Its approach centres on understanding each person’s vision and creating artwork that reflects their personality, preferences and story.
The studio brings together artists with different creative strengths, giving clients access to a broad range of tattoo styles. These include fine line, realism, traditional, Japanese, watercolour, freehand, blackwork, calligraphy and lettering. Clients can explore everything from delicate floral designs and detailed portraits to animal imagery, mythical creatures and larger pieces such as sleeves and back tattoos. This variety offers options for people seeking a subtle design as well as those planning more extensive body art.
Custom design is central to the Dreamhands experience. The artists work with clients to develop their initial concepts, considering how the artwork will suit the body and incorporating the artist’s specialist style. Each project is approached as an opportunity to create something personal, with attention given to both the client’s ideas and the finished composition. The team places importance on the overall experience, from the first conversation through to the tattoo appointment.
DH Tattoo offers free consultations, allowing clients to discuss their preferred design, size and placement before proceeding. The team can help match clients with an artist whose style suits their request. Advance enquiries are encouraged for custom tattoos, while walk-in clients can choose from available flash designs, subject to artist availability. The studio also provides aftercare guidance to help clients care for their new tattoos following their appointment.
Alongside tattoo services, the business offers gift cards and an online shop featuring tattoo supplies, machines, needles, tools, accessories and tattoo care products. With two Auckland locations, a diverse artistic offering and a commitment to personalised design, Dreamhands Tattoo Studio provides a welcoming setting for people to explore self-expression through body art.
