TECHCEM Consultancy and Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is an India-based cement plant consultancy and engineering firm headquartered in Navi Mumbai, with a branch office in Solapur, Maharashtra. Founded in 2016, TECHCEM has delivered more than 200 projects across 30 countries, supporting cement producers, plant owners, EPC contractors and project developers from the first feasibility study through to commissioning.
Cement is the firm’s core strength. TECHCEM works on new greenfield plants, brownfield expansions, modernisation of ageing facilities, and performance improvement at operating plants. Its engineering capability also extends to closely related heavy industries, including power generation, mineral processing, lime and gypsum plants, steel and metallurgical facilities, and large industrial infrastructure.
Its services cover the full life of a plant. These include cement plant consultancy and feasibility reports, conceptual and detail engineering, raw material and limestone investigation, process engineering and plant optimisation, and refractory engineering for kilns and preheaters. TECHCEM also provides electrical and instrumentation engineering, including PLC and SCADA systems, along with mechanical, layout, civil and structural engineering. For project delivery, it offers procurement engineering and vendor evaluation, project management, and inspection and field services. For running plants, it carries out technical, maintenance and energy audits that identify where efficiency is being lost and set out a practical plan to recover it.
What sets TECHCEM apart is hands-on plant experience. Projects are led by engineers who have worked inside operating cement plants, and the core team brings qualifications across mechanical, electrical, civil and process engineering, drawn from 11 nationalities. All engineering is handled in-house rather than outsourced, and clients stay with the same team from first consultation to final commissioning. Every recommendation is assessed against its effect on operating cost and efficiency, not just its design merit, and engineering choices account for sustainability and future scalability as well as immediate project needs.
Recent project work includes review engineering for JSW Cement at Fujairah, civil and structural engineering for JKLC in Madhya Pradesh, and projects for Udayapur Cement in Nepal and JSW Cement in West Bengal.
